Pursuant to Order of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine dated 11.07.16 № 820 (Annex 12), the journal can publish materials related to thesis works aimed on the receipt of scientific degrees of candidate of sciences (Doctor of philosophy-Ph.D.) and Doctor of Sciences  in the area of Juridical Science.

The printed journal INFORMATION AND LAW is included in the international database of journal, in accordance with relevant ISSN number.

TO THE ATTENTION OF AUTHORS

The editorial board of the Journal draws attention of authors of articles submitted for peer-reviewing and publication to the rules established by the Resolution of the Presidium of the Higher Attestation Commission of Ukraine dated 15.01.03 № 7-05 / 1 “On increasing the requirements for professional publications included in the lists HAC of Ukraine ”.

With the above-mentioned we suggest:

1) To submit both printed and electronic versions of article in Ukrainian (both versions should be identical):

–  the format for text is Microsoft Word (doc); font: Times New Roman, 13;

–  paper size A4 (21 cm х 29,7 cm);book page orientation, justified text with margins: top, bottom, left, right – 20 mm.

–  line spacing – 1 cm;

–  the length of the article should be no more than 15 pages.

The article should consist of:

 ·  Universal Decimal Classification (UDC) index;

·  name and family name (Ukrainian and English), academic degree, author's title, and ORCID (when you have);

·  title of the article (Ukrainian and English);

·  annotations and keywords (Ukrainian, English, Russian);

·  scientific problem solving by achieving the purposes

-  problem statement (general overview);

- analysis of recent researches and publications in the field, identification of unsolved problems which the article addresses;

- topicality arguments to substantiate scientific novelty of the article;

- purpose of the article;

- presentation of the main material - description of scientific problem solving and substantiation of scientific value and practical importance of the results defined in the article;

· conclusions about the results of solving the problem and the purposes that determine the scientific novelty of the article. May be accompanied by the suggestions, estimates, hypotheses described in the article, and identifying strategies for further research;

· references. The author can structure his/her article references in any format,in accordance with the National Standard of Ukraine “DSTU 8302:2015” “Informatsiia ta dokumentatsiia. Bibliohrafichne posylannia. Zahalni polozhennia ta pravyla skladannia” (“Information and Documentation. References. General Provisions and Standards”) or in accordance with OSCOLA (“Oxford Standard for Citation of Legal Authorities”), referred to p. 11. of the Order of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine dated January 12, 17, No. 40, to the recommended list of styles for structuring scientific publications;

·  signature, address (email address), author's contact number.

2) Submit a written Review paper to an article signed by a person with a scientific degree.

The Review paper shall be clearly structured and consist of the following parts:

·  topicality;

·  novelty and validity of scientific results;

· practical importance of the results;

· conclusion about the possibility of publication in a scientific journal.

3) The manuscript of the article and the Review paper hould be carefully proofread, corrected and signed by the appropriate persons.

4) In a separate file, the authors submit an electronic version of the extended abstract of the article (up to 1 page of A-4 page format) in English, which will be published on the web-site of the journal, in accordance with the order of the Ministry of Youth of Ukraine “On approval of the order of forming the list of scientific professional publications of Ukraine” from 17.10. 12, No. 1111.

Reviewing process of a scientific article to be published in the Journal

All articles submitted to the editorial board are peer reviewed. The purpose of peer review is to facilitate the careful selection of the author's manuscripts for publication and to make specific recommendations for their improvement. The review procedure is focused on the most objective assessment of the content of the scientific article, determining its compliance with the requirements of the journal and provides a comprehensive analysis of its advantages and disadvantages. Only articles that are scientifically valuable and contribute to solving topical problems and problems are accepted for publication. The level of compliance with the rules for preparing an article for publication in a scientific journal is monitored separately (see Requirements for Article Design http://ippi.org.ua/node/529).

The primary purpose of the peer review process is to eliminate cases of poor research practices and to ensure that the interests of the authors, readers, editorial board, reviewers, and the institution where the research was conducted are consistent and balanced.

Manuscripts are reviewed in a confidential manner. By submitting a manuscript to the journal, the authors trust the editors with the results of their academic work and creative endeavors, which may depend on their reputation and career. Disclosure of the manuscript's peer review violates the author's rights. Editors do not provide information regarding the manuscript (including information about its receipt, content, peer review process, critical reviewers' comments, and final conclusions) to anyone other than the authors and reviewers themselves. Breach of privacy is possible only in the case of a statement of inaccuracy or falsification of materials, in all other cases its preservation is obligatory.

The author of the article is responsible for the scientific and practical value of the article, the credibility of facts and data, validity of conclusions and recommendations. The author and the reviewer are responsible for the accuracy of the facts and data provided, the validity of the conclusions and recommendations made, and the scientific and practical level of the article.

 

Dear authors!

Organizational and resource support for the publication of the journal is entrusted to the Research Institute of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine (with the support of the University “Ukraine”). Information support is provided by the National Library of Ukraine named after V. I. Vernadskyi of NAS of Ukraine and the University “Ukraine”. The journal is spread nationwide. The language of the publication is Ukrainian.

The journal is sent out in accordance with the order of the Higher Attestation Commission of Ukraine “On approval of the List of institutions and organizations to which the scientific publications, in which the main results of the dissertation are published, are obligatory to be sent” dated 04.04.00, № 175. The materials of the articles will also be published electronically on the website of the Scientific and Research Institute of Informatics and Law  of the National Academy of Legal Sciences of Ukraine.

The prepared article should be submitted to the Scientific and Research Institute of Informatics and Law  of the National Academy of Legal Sciences of Ukraine (e-mail: bvm777@ukr.net or pravo@ndcpi.org.ua, tel: 234-94-56, contact person: Valerii Bryzhko) for preliminary assessment. After that, payment should be made and the article is submitted to the editorial board of the journal.
